Creating and maintaining websites has become a full time way of living for many webmasters. Many webmasters have more than one website. The content of these websites are related sometimes and sometimes they are not. A technique used by webmasters is that, they link multiple websites which they own. For example, if you have 7 websites and you buy backlinks for 3 of them, and when you link all the 7 of the websites with these back links, it creates an expression that, all the sites have inbound links. The major drawback in this method is that the webmaster had to buy back links from the same IP. You have to be careful about interlinking multiple websites on the same IP. If you own seven websites whose contents are related, then interlinking each of these websites can cause the website’s ranking to seriously plunge down. All the search engines are programmed to look for such back links connection from the same IP. Many webmasters have tried to manipulate back links in this way, and it has only resulted in causing a blow to the website’s ranking. This method to buy back links and link them from the same IP is known as back link bombing.
